When homeowners think of remodeling, they usually consider new finishes and cabinets but stop short of moving walls or windows. But it’s worth convincing them that sizing a window as large as possible for maximum effect — even if it adds cost — is well worth it to open up their space and gain light and air.
If they worry about lost cabinet space, there are so many new options for undercounter storage that it shouldn’t be a problem.
