It may be running extra electrical wires or preparing pipes for additional plumbing fixtures for those items that will not be completed immediately.

Time

The worst time to do any whole home remodeling project is when you are the busiest. So, we recommend consulting your calendar and crossing off the dates that coincide with major holidays, certain vacations, weddings, and graduations. Although vacations are on this list, you may want to still consider having work done at that time, because you will be out of the way of your contractors. Of course, you will need to make sure that you trust your contractors completely and that you are available via phone to answer any questions or concerns.

Create a Budget

You should never start any type of remodeling project without having a clear budget in mind. Without a budget, you will not know when to scale back and when to splurge. If you begin to choose items without a care in the world, you may find that you are out of money long before your whole home remodeling project is complete.
