Redend Point by Sherwin-Williams is of the earth. Immediately upon looking at a swatch of this paint, I saw sand. Sherwin-Williams, no doubt, also saw sand and was inspired to create a chic neutral that tells the story of an outside adventure brought indoors into the places we cherish. With Redend Point on your kitchen, living room, or office wall, you can fondly remember your recent weekend escapade throughout the rest of your day and week.

This shade is warm and comforting, yet fresh and new, perfectly pairing with any inside plant life to reimagine the essence of the outdoors. It is a curious, unconventional, and modern hue; even though it is a brownish neutral, there is enough pink undertone to appear on the verge of salmon after a few minutes of study.

Per Sherwin- Williams:

“Looking into the distance, we see a destination worth moving toward. It is the beauty beyond ourselves, the warmth of a world where empathy reigns, a distant but familiar place that invites us to arrive with compassion, to take good care—to come home .… In this soft and soulful neutral, we know what it is to feel cared for, to appreciate what we have, to create deeper connections as we move through the world.”

This narrative tells a story of this color as a connection between the earth and all of us. It is the color of winding trails and summer heat and the color of wrapping up in a blanket with a mug of tea upon returning home while the evening chill sets in. It is a color inspired by exploration in the great outdoors and also inspired by a hug with family and friends as the adventure winds down for the night. One can relax and feel comforted before beginning the next day anew.
